Brad Pitt Draws the Line: No High-Flying Stunts for Him on Set

At the recent premiere of F1 in Mexico City, Hollywood star Brad Pitt made it clear there’s one thing he absolutely refuses to do on set—those death-defying aerial stunts that have become Tom Cruise’s trademark. Whether it’s hanging off planes, rappelling from skyscrapers, or other extreme airborne feats, Pitt says that’s not for him.
“I’m not gonna hang my a– off airplanes… so when he does something again that’s on the ground,” Pitt joked, signaling his preference for action sequences firmly rooted on terra firma.
While Pitt embraces physically demanding, character-driven scenes—such as the high-speed driving in F1—he’s drawing a clear boundary when it comes to risky stunts involving heights and aerial maneuvers. Despite this, he remains open to collaborating with Cruise again, as long as it’s grounded action.
In short: Brad Pitt’s on-set rule is simple. No high-flying, death-defying stunts. He’s happy to keep his feet on the ground and leave the aerial daredevil work to others—namely Tom Cruise.
