‘Fight Tom Aspinall Already!’ Fans Lose Patience with Jon Jones After Arnold Schwarzenegger Meeting!

UFC fans are growing increasingly restless, calling on Jon Jones to face top contender Tom Aspinall or vacate the heavyweight belt. Despite recent assurances from UFC CEO Dana White that the fight is in the works, the lack of an official announcement has sparked a chorus of frustration across social media.
White recently told fans, “It’s coming. Relax,” in reference to the anticipated bout. But that hasn’t stopped the barrage of comments flooding Jones’ Instagram posts. “Fight like a man,” one commenter urged, while another declared, “Fight Tom Aspinall already.”
Former UFC champion and current analyst Michael Bisping also chimed in on the delays. “What’s going on with that one? We’ve got to get an announcement on Tom versus Jones pretty soon,” Bisping said. “If they’re going to fight on International Fight Week or something like that, they’ve got to announce it. They’ve got to start the training camps, and the fact that they haven’t is giving me cause for concern.”
Negotiations in Progress, But Patience Wearing Thin
Jones, who returned to the Octagon earlier this year with a dominant win over Stipe Miocic, initially hinted at retirement. However, he recently confirmed his intention to fight a few more times before stepping away. The next logical step appears to be a clash with Aspinall, whose recent performances have solidified his status as the top contender in the division.
Reports suggest that Jones is asking for a $30 million purse to face Aspinall, a figure the UFC is reportedly working to accommodate. Yet the prolonged negotiations have done little to calm fans eager to see the fight materialize. One commenter wrote bluntly, “Fight tom lil man,” while others rallied for an announcement to be made as soon as possible.
What’s Next for the Heavyweight Division?
For now, the UFC faithful can only speculate on when the deal might be finalized. White continues to assure fans that the fight is on the horizon, but without a firm date, the online pressure shows no signs of letting up. As one fan put it simply, “Jone Bones vs Tom Aspinall pls.”
Whether the public outcry and mounting social media demands will accelerate negotiations remains to be seen. For now, the UFC heavyweight division—and its most vocal followers—wait impatiently for the next chapter in the Jon Jones saga.
