Rapper 50 Cent, known for his sharp tongue and relentless social media presence, wasted no time responding to the verdict in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ high-profile sex trafficking and racketeering trial. Staying true to his longstanding feud with Combs, 50 Cent launched a string of provocative posts Wednesday, trolling the music mogul moments after the verdict was announced.

Combs was found guilty on two counts of prostitution but acquitted of racketeering and other sex trafficking charges. Reacting on Instagram, Curtis James Jackson III—50 Cent’s real name—sarcastically praised Combs for “beating the Rico,” referring to the racketeering charge, and mockingly dubbed him the “Gay John Gotti,” a reference to the infamous mob boss who was once known as the “Teflon Don” for repeatedly escaping conviction.

“Diddy beat the Rico, that boy a bad man!” Jackson wrote. “He like the Gay John Gotti.”

He doubled down on the Gotti comparison in another post, firing back at critics who implied he should be intimidated by Combs: “Get the f— off my page talking about I’m supposed to be scared of the Gay Teflon Don!”

50 Cent’s feud with Diddy dates back to the early 2000s and has been reignited by the legal drama surrounding Combs, which began with abuse allegations in 2023. Throughout the trial, Jackson has actively commented on developments, often with biting humor and pointed jabs. The feud was even referenced in court testimony when one of Combs’ former assistants, Capricorn Clark, recalled Combs saying, “I don’t like all that back and forth… I like guns.” Responding to this revelation, 50 Cent mocked the comment on Instagram: “Cut, CUT 🎬Wait a minute PUFFY’s got a gun, I can’t believe this I don’t feel safe 😔LOL.”

Their rivalry originally flared after Jackson’s 2006 diss track “The Bomb,” which insinuated that Combs had knowledge about the murder of The Notorious B.I.G., deepening tensions between the two hip-hop icons.

As for Diddy, he faces up to 20 years in prison for the prostitution convictions. The judge denied his bail request on Wednesday, ordering him to remain in custody until his sentencing hearing, currently scheduled for October.

With 50 Cent’s relentless trolling showing no signs of slowing, this feud remains one of the most public and provocative in hip-hop history—now playing out not just on social media but also in the courtroom.
